Jungrok (CEO Suyeon Lee), a startup specialized in R&D of 3D printing apparatus and
successfully developed the low-energy and high-efficiency plasma modules, is about to
release a product that contributes to COVID-19 disinfection.
After foundation in 2016, Jungrok has been focusing on R&D of industrial apparatus. In the
R&D process, Jongrok acquired plasma technologies and developed small plasma voltage input
apparatus.
The air purification plasma module applied with the technologies from Agency for Defense
Development and it disinfects 99.99% of colon bacillus, bacillus pyocyaneus, and super
bacteria while inactivating the coronavirus by 99.99%. This plasma module is applied on the
air sterilizer, “Klaen”, which will be soon released.
The microorganism lab of Jungrok proved Klaen’s disinfection performance against colon
bacillus and salmonella. Klaen is also certified with KC marks. The ozone generation rate of
0.00ppm is significantly lower than the environmental standards.
While other disinfection systems use liquid disinfectants, Klaen will be contributing to the
individual disinfection. Klaen will be followed up by “Klaen Mini” in compact and portable
sizes.
Currently, Jungrok is continuously working on R&D for plasma water treatment apparatus and
industrial mass plasma apparatus to expand toward various fields beyond the air
disinfection.
